And....They're Off!

Life just got a thousand times crazier now that both Nicholas and Karlee started crawling this week! Karlee has been flopping around for over a month now, whereas Nicholas just started army crawling last week. After seeing Karlee up cruising around on all fours, Nicholas was up and crawling too, within a few days of his twin sis. Now, they are both everywhere. I feel like I'm always stepping on or over babies. They are right under my feet. I've been busy re-baby proofing the house (putting up gates, moving garbage cans, household cleaners, etc) and keeping my floors clean before my other vacuums get to them. Karlee is still getting stuck in different places and Nicholas....well, he just follows Karlee around! My favorite is when I run upstairs for something and I come back to find this view (below) waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs. Karlee is already attempting to climb up them! She knows exactly where she is going!

What cute kids! I think it's cute that Nicholas didn't want to be left behind in Karlee's dust, so he just up and joined her :)

Too cute! You'll have to let us know which is the hardest and easiest stages with twins. I've always wondered.

This is only the begining. ;) It is really fun when the get to a new stage, but the things they can find to climb and eat will be amazing! Good luck! :)

Darling! I love it- as if you didn't already have your hands full! Only you could handle all the craziness with a smile.

I can't believe that they are crawling! Garrett isn't even rolling yet (he's getting close, but I still have to help him a little). Both my boys have been a little slow at the mobility things... I hope it's not an indicator of the future, but Russ and I are both slow so I don't think they have much hope. We always joke that the boys better learn to hit the baseball hard and far so they can make it to base! Their genetics are not in their favor. Oh, well -- at least I'm not having to worry about Garrett getting too far -- I just have to worry about what Cole is doing...

Lindsey, I can't even imagine. Jack was crawling when I was sick so we had to buy a gate and gate off half of Cami's basement to keep him contained. Best of luck with the new changes you sure have some cute kids.

Wow... you really have entered into the next stage. I am kinda scared of that stage because I don't want to baby proof everything. It is so fun though! Oh, I wish I could see them together. I bet they are hours of entertainment to watch together.

So cute -- and tiring just thinking about it! I'm sure you sleep well every night, Lindsey! (Unless your kids are waking up, then I'll bet you feel somewhat like a zombie for the majority of your day!) Anyhow, fun to catch up on you & your little ones. :)

I can't believe you have two crawling. I think my life is crazy but I can't even imagine two at the same time. I do have to say it looks awfully fun once in awhile especially because your kids are so cute.

Oh my goodness... you are a busy mother. Oh I do miss you!! Your kids are adorable. I got to see Lezlee the other week. It has been about four years since we got together and it was a happy reunion. I guess it would even be a greater reunion if I got to see everyone the whole Brenchley gang. Maybe one day!!

HEY LINDS!!! I am so glad you found me! You little twins are so cute! How do you like Corvalis? There was a job we were looking at in Eugene, but we will probably end up in Washington. It is so great to hear from you :)
