ONE!!!

It's hard to believe that my little guy is ONE! He is such a joy to have in our family and is a little TOO loved! We smother him in kisses and hugs and we all fight over who gets to go get him from his crib in the mornings.  He is such a happy little person and loves to be where the action is!  He's learned that being the 4th kid, you have to go with the flow, even if it means your afternoon nap gets cut short every day because Mom has to go pick up kids. You also get smothered by your older brother that likes to push your buttons but only does it because "He just loves you SO MUCH!"  We all do and would hold and squeeze you as much as you'd let us!  I love having Logan to myself during the day.  It's like being a new mom again with play dates and quiet time.  I am treasuring the days!  It's amazing what joy and happiness one little person can bring into the family.  He makes us complete!  I just wish I could keep him little forever!

We had a "Little Man Mustache" party with friends for Logan for his birthday! We had a little too much fun with it!

The Little Man himself!

I love his face! He wanted that cake! This boy loves sweet things, cookies, cakes...you name it!

Happy Birthday, Logan! We love you!

Macy's Baptism Day

Macy was baptized and confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints on September 14, 2013.  It was a very special day for her and for all of us that were there to support her.  She was more excited for her baptism than even her birthday and had been looking forward to this day all year.  She looked so beautiful in her dress and was radiant the whole day!  I remember the bishop saying a few words right after her baptism and before her confirmation and telling her that right now all her sins had been washed away and she was perfect! He then asked her if she thought she'd stay perfect from here on out?  She was so cute and confident when she said "Yes!" so sweetly and innocently.   She might pretty well stay that way.  This day made me realize that she is really growing up.  Macy is such a good girl and she wants so badly to do what is right and follow the Savior's example. She is a great example to me.  In so many ways, our children teach us.  I am so happy she wanted to be baptized.  I know the blessings that the gospel has brought in to my life and the strength it has given to me over the years and I want that for her.  I know she will find it here!  Such a special day with grandparents and loved ones and dear friends that came from so many distances to show Macy they love her! She is one lucky girl & we are lucky to have her in our family!

Macers turns 8!

I can't believe I have an 8 year old! I always told myself when I have an 8 year old then I will be old! Well, yeah, it's really here and I do feel older but I couldn't love this girl any more!  She is super sweet, naturally good at everything she does, full of personality and spunk and a wonderful big sister.  She brings sunshine wherever she goes and loves to play and have fun! Most of the time, you will find her upside down, doing handstands and flipping, sitting in the splits and practicing her gymnastic routines! Watch out! You might get a foot in your face! She LOVES gymnastics and is on the team.  She also is great at the piano and smart in school! She's busy, busy, and super disciplined.  Works hard, plays hard! We love this girl and all that comes with her!

Happy 8th Birthday!

Ta-Da! The Birthday girl is awake! Karlee got up in the middle of the night to go potty and got her own little surprise balloon drop when she opened the door.  I didn't notice in time to put it back up before Macy woke up. We reenacted what was suppose to happen.  The streamers and balloons are tradition. The kids always remind me to put them up the night of their birthdays, so it's never really a surprise! They love it!

A snow cone maker! Fun right! She loved it but what she loved even more was the trip to the Apple Store to pick out her new apple touch.  After combining all of her birthday money with the money she has been saving for since December, she finally was able to get one on her birthday day! She was so so happy!

A few school friends at the pool for a swim party!

Happy Birthday, Macy! We love you!

"Seattle" Girls Weekend Continued...

We stopped in Seattle on the way home and bought a CityPass so we had to make it worth it! We crammed everything we could in to ONE day from the Space Needle, to Pike's Market Place, down to the Great Wheel, the Aquarium and back up to the Children's Museum to see the butterfly house for 20 minutes before closing! Us girls ROCKed it! We LOVE Seattle!
