So Long South Carolina! We'll miss Y'all!
The movers are here and we are on our way out! We'll be in Logan for a bit and then it's off to the great Pacific Northwest. We have loved South Carolina and will miss so much about it. We'll miss the great weather, the way of life, the food, and most of all, the wonderful friends we have made in our short year here. Thanks for all the memories! We'll miss y'all!

Loving just being together!
I took this picture today and I absolutely love it! I can't believe this is my little family. They look so big to me! My kids just love hanging out on the floor and wherever the babies are, Macy is right there with them, making them laugh, reading them stories and trying to comfort them when I can't get to them fast enough. She is such a little mother and sounds just like me when she talks to them! She even calls Nicholas "Buddy." These kids are the sweetest things in my life and they make me laugh every day!
Here is Karlee rolling on top of Nick. Nick DID finally roll over for the first time yesterday. We knew he'd catch up eventually.

First Bites of Cereal!
I've been putting this day off for as long as possible just because it's one more thing I have to squeeze in my day, but my little guy was acting like he was STARVING. So on top of feeding the twins 10 bottles a day (between the two of them), I am now giving them cereal! I've since been able to drop their 10pm feeding and they have been sleeping entirely through the night. I kiss them goodnight at 7pm and don't hear from them until 6:30 in the morning. I am feeling much more rested and everyone seems happier! It's heavenly!!!
Speaking of sucking on fingers, Karlee has figured out how to get her toes in her mouth and loves to suck on them too! This girl is always doing the funniest things!
Nicholas scarfs the cereal down and screams for more! This kid is going to eat us out of house and home!

Farewell Party!
Our good friends threw us a farewell party at their home on Saturday night. I am so glad I didn't really have to say good-bye since we are still planning on getting together for one more play date next week before we leave. We had a great time and the kids had an even better time running around and pulling out every toy in our friends home (both inside and out). Shawn, I hope you have gotten your house back in order. Thank you again for everything!

Hot Summer Night!
Oh, how we are going to miss the beautiful South! This picture was taken at sunset on Lake Murray where we spent Sunday evening visiting with a co-worker of Mark's at his beautiful home. We sat on the dock and just dangled our feet in the warm water and breathed in the hot, humid summer air as we watched the boats and geese float by. It was one of those quiet and peaceful summer evenings that you just never want to end. There is a uniqueness about the south that is so endearing! I can't put my finger on what exactly it is that I've fallen in love with about it. Maybe it's the people or the way of life or just the pure beauty of our surroundings. Whatever it is, this place will always be dear to my heart.
Lone Star BBQ & Mercantile
You know a restaurant has to be good when you'll drive an hour each way just to eat there. That is exactly what we did last Friday night when we drove with some friends to Santee, South Carolina to eat some good ole' southern food at the Lone Star BBQ buffet. This restaurant is literally in the middle of no where but people travel from all over to bite in to their famous fried chicken (which was absolutely delicious and I'm not a fan of fried chicken...usually). Also on the menu, was the best homemade mac 'n cheese ever, tomato pie, hash, and for dessert...peach cobbler and banana pudding! People in the south sure know how to eat and live!
Bouncy, Bounce, Bounce!
These are the funniest videos and show just how different Karlee's and Nicholas's personalities are. When we put Karlee in the Jumparoo, she goes wild, bouncing all over the place. She looks like she is getting serious whiplash. She LOVES it, though! Nicholas, on the other hand, is just starting to warm up to the new toy. He usually screams when I put him in it but today I caught him in a good mood. He sat and chilled. Hopefully, you don't get too sick watching this but get ready to laugh! Oooohhh....I just love these babies!
