Nicholas and Karlee are officially 4!!!! They woke up to find streamers and balloons in their rooms. Their preschool was cancelled due to snow and black ice on the roads. They were totally excited about that! I let them open a few presents to keep them busy. We went to lunch at McDonalds (crazy, but they love that place) and then waited and waited for Mark to come home to open the rest of their presents. It was torture! Luckily, the UPS man delivered a few surprises from Grandma. We went to Izzy's Pizza Buffet for dinner and then Nicholas insisted that he have a big birthday cake (not cupcakes), so I scrambled to throw one together! It's totally pathetic but they were so happy to be sung to one more time.

Serious? Four already?! They are so cute, I can't imagine all the non stop action you are having over there! You are a great mom, and looks like they felt super special on their bdays!!!

The snow post made me so happy...miss the snow AND sun. Looks like you had a great day and the kids' huge smiles are priceless.
